Colorado Springs, CO, March 8, 2006 – NAVSYS Corporation has been named the “2006 Most Successful Company Resulting from an SBIR Award” by SBIR Colorado. The award was presented by SBIR Colorado at its 5th Annual Conference and Awards Banquet held in Denver on March 8, 2006.NAVSYS Corporation, an R&D company pioneering in GPS and Inertial Navigation innovation, was founded in 1986 by Dr. Alison Brown. NAVSYS Corporation and Dr. Brown have received numerous awards. Most recently, Deloitte & Touche named NAVSYS to its Technology Fast 50 list in 2004 and 2005. NAVSYS also won a coveted showcase position at the 2005 DEMOGala sponsored by the Colorado Software and Internet Association (CSIA) in December 2005. Dr. Brown also was named Entrepreneur of the Year for 2005 by Colorado Celebrates Technology.
