Description

A privately held company incorporated in Massachusetts in 1985. NEK serves the military and OEM market by supplying custom data entry devices and man machine interfaces. NEK was split off from AMP Keyboard Technologies (the keyboard division of the connector giant) in 1984. This occurred when AMP made the decision to concentrate it’s business efforts on it’s connector lines. NEK provides rubber, membrane and kapton membrane, full travel and short stroke keyboards and keypanels. NEK can incorporate into all of these products a long list of additional features. A few of these features are displays, encoder cards, pointing devices, indicator LEDs, audio transceivers, backlighting, enclosures, backer panels and shielding.
