With this in mind, The National Institute for Excellence in Professional Education, LLC has developed two comprehensive designation programs: Certified Specialist in Estate Planning ® (CSEP) - Certified Specialist in Retirement Planning ® (CSRP) In partnership with Surgent McCoy CPE, LLC, the recognized leader in continuing education for tax and financial professionals, the National Institute has developed and maintains stringent requirements for attaining and holding these designations, providing assurance to the public that our designation holders have the practical knowledge and expertise to be leaders in their field. These requirements include the completion of a curriculum of core and elective courses, attainment of a passing grade on a rigorous exam for each course, meeting requirements of education and experience, and adhering to the National Institute code of ethics. After completing a program, designation holders are required to annually renew their designation and meet biannual continuing education requirements. Designation holders are granted use of their designation by the National Institute and must continue to meet all requirements to maintain its use. The National Institute is committed to upholding quality standards for its designation programs, promoting the value of the designations, and providing a service to our designation holders.
