As a small business owner I have been "burned" more than once by so called "IT Professionals" who provide sub-par service and charge over inflated prices to provide services and products they state you need (but you don't). When you look in hindsight you clearly know that their only interest was to line their own pockets vs. provide you with a quality service or experience. It is for this reason that I came to avoid reaching out for IT help at all costs. I opted to reach out to NRDesignPC. Compared to the other options they appeared (from the sources I had access to) to offer the highest level of professional IT training at rates that might be affordable. I reached out to Fernando (aka "Nando") not knowing what to expect. I received a prompt and professional reply back and based off that communication I decided to proceed. Nando arrived punctually (which in itself scored "points" with me) Unlike past IT people I have used ( who would inflate their hours by staying as long as possible as they supposedly discovered more and more "issues") Nando was quick, efficient and right to the point.

Nando is my first call for IT- business or personal. It's always been a frustration of mine to pay a lot for a little when it comes to hardware or software servicing. We have a small appraisal business that we opened in the early 1990’s. At that time we used computers to create reports however pictures were still developed at local photo shops and glued on to report pages and flood zones were researched by hand in flood maps and then copied on Xerox machines and included in reports. Those reports were then stapled together by hand and delivered by courier to clients. Needless to say that has all changed. Everything we do is now computerized including pictures, flood maps and delivery by e-mail. We are dependent now more than ever on our computers. We have had to adapt to the constant changes in technology and for a small business with a rather small budget we have always had difficulty finding a computer technician that was timely, affordable and competent. ??We spent many years being low man on the totem pole to technicians who had other clients with deeper pockets. Sometimes we would wait days when our computers were down for someone to get around to us. I am glad to say that this year we began working with Nando. What a difference! It was a great surprise to get same day responses to phone calls.
