About Neal Manufacturing Mike Neal started Neal Manufacturing, Inc. in 1993, under the name of Double N Trailers. In 1993, it was a two-man operation and they built approximately 75 trailers their first year. In 1996, the company incorporated and changed its name to Neal Manufacturing, Inc. To supply the growing demand for their trailers they relocated to a larger facility located in Pleasanton, KS, in 1997.
