The Town of Nahant is a small seaside community (about 1.6 square mile) of slightly more than 3,800 souls located in Eastern Massachusetts (USA), about 15 miles north of Boston. Bordered by the Atlantic Ocean, the cool sea breezes in the summer and the pounding surf in the winter make Nahant a favorite year-round visiting site.Nahant is connected to the mainland in Lynn by a one-mile Causeway. There is only one road in / out of Nahant.Nahant has two churches, the Village Church, a Protestant denomination, and St. Thomas Aquinas, a Roman Catholic denomination. We have a US post office and a bank, Equitable Cooperative, both on Nahant Road.
