Nancy Frame is owner and creative director. Nancy has created brand, packaging and environmental design for a wide range of clients including Whole Foods Market, Applegate Farms, Good Health Natural Foods, Earth Fare, One with Nature and Duke Medical Center. Regarded as a leader in branding and design in natural products and healthy living categories, Nancy has created brand marks and packaging for a number of leading national organic and natural brands and much of the identity and visual look of Whole Foods Market. Before founding NFD, Nancy was senior designer at several prominent New York design firms, creating package design and corporate identity programs for clients including General Foods, Chiquita Brands, United Brands and HEB. Nancy earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design at SUNY Fredonia and continued with post-graduate studies at School of Visual Arts. Bob Frame is responsible for account services and project management. Prior to joining Nancy Frame Design, Bob served as brand manager for Whole Foods Market from 1992 until 2001 helping to create WFM's private label program in addition to marketing and public relations duties. During that time Whole Foods grew from 13 stores to more than 150 stores and 2 billion in annual sales. Bob's talent for analyzing information to find connections and opportunities inform and provide context for our conceptual thinking and design strategies. Trained in Technical Theatre at SUNY Fredonia, Bob's ability to interprete blueprints, create working drawings and knowledge of general construction practices are key to our work in environmental design and architectural signage.
