Narrows

Description

Less than a mile from the center of Old Forge, nestled among the trees overlooking First Lake Channel are "The Narrows" Housekeeping Cottages. Each cottage has a pleasant combination living room with picture window and kitchenette, two bedrooms with double beds/bunk bed and a sofa in the living area. Each cottage sleeps four or five and all have automatic heat, bathroom with shower, refrigerator, gas stove, cable TV, dishes, cooking utensils, blankets and pillows. There are cottages are located at the water's edge and others in a wooded like setting, all of which have outside fireplaces and picnic tables. There is also a play area for children. Canoes and paddleboats are available for our guests to use. If you have your own boat, docking is available on a limited basis by advance reservation.
