National Signal Technology, Inc (NST) was founded in 1991, and presently has offices in Pittsburgh, Chicago, Louisville, Atlanta, and Omaha. Our mission is to provide quality signal engineering services to the railroad and mass transit industry. We believe that the key to our success is hiring and developing a superior engineering staff that works closely with our customers to fully understand and satisfy their requirements. We have partnered with most all of the mainline railroads in North America and many of the signal system suppliers. Perhaps the greatest evidence of customer satisfaction is our many ongoing relationships with our established clients. To maintain quality we have found it best for us to maintain a single point of contact with each of our customers. In this way, we provide the greatest access to our internal resources and continuity between projects. National Signal Technology Inc. (NST) is a small and fast growing signal engineering design company serving the railroad and transit industry since 1991. Our mission is to provide quality signal design while providing an environment for our design professionals that is satisfying and rewarding. We specialize in wayside signal design using both microprocessors and relay technology. We have offices in Pittsburgh, Omaha, Louisville, Chicago, and Atlanta.

For the past 25 years, the need for highly experienced signal engineers has continued to grow, while the supply has continued to decrease. You are not alone in dealing with the industry reality. NST was founded to assist you in dealing with the reality as you try to complete your particular project. Our goal is be an extension of your internal capabilities.

We have extensive experience in application design, testing, safety and EMI assurance, marketing, and project management to assist you in any signal related project.

NST presently has openings for highly motivated candidates with a minimum of 3 years of related design experience in interlocking design or highway crossing applications. Positions are available at all offices.
