Philip N. Elbert joined Neal & Harwell in 1981. He has broad experience in both civil and criminal cases. He has won multimillion-dollar verdicts at trial and negotiated many millions of dollars in settlements for clients in cases involving serious personal injury or death. In the aggregate, he and the attorneys under his supervision have recovered close to $100 million in verdicts and settlements in personal injury cases.

Mr. Thomas has experience in a broad range of civil and criminal litigation matters, primarily in the federal district and appellate courts. In addition to Tennessee state and federal courts, Mr. Thomas is admitted to the bars of the United States Supreme Court and the United States Courts of Appeals for the Fifth, Sixth, Ninth and Eleventh Circuits.

Jon D. Ross has been associated with Neal & Harwell since 1973 and is the third-longest-serving member of the firm. His current clients include Hyundai Motor America; Rutherford County, Tennessee; and NewsChannel 5 Network, L.P., the CBS affiliate in Nashville. He has represented the manufacturers of Volkswagen, Nissan, General Motors, Mazda, Subaru and Kero-Sun products, as well as numerous other companies, in product liability litigation. He also represents plaintiffs in personal injury litigation.
