Needles, CPA Kurt@needles-audit.com Kurt was hired by Peter Dell in 1979 after graduating from Ohio University and has worked exclusively with Employee Benefit Plans. He became President of Dell & Needles, Incorporated in 1993 and purchased the company, as sole owner, in January 2003 and changed the name to Needles & Associates, LLC. He holds licenses for each of the states that the firm works, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Tennessee. Early in 2008 Kurt Needles was asked if he would participate as a member of the Editorial Board in a new website, www.payrollauditing.com . This website is a “Go to” resource for payroll auditing questions. He has attended all annual AICPA Employee Benefit Plans conferences since its inception in 1990 and was a speaker at the 2002 AICPA National Conference on Employee Benefit Plans (the topic was payroll auditing). He was a speaker at the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) 2008 annual conference in San Antonio and was a speaker/panelist and moderator at the Collections Conference in Lake Tahoe in 2009. All of the topics were in the area of payroll audits. Kurt spends his spare time assisting his wife’s business; she is a Dressage Trainer. He and his wife also love to travel. Tosin Ejiwunmi, CPA Tosin@needles-audit.com Tosin has been with Needles & Associates since August 2001. She graduated from Metropolitan State College of Denver with Honors with a BSc in Accounting, May 2001. She qualified as a CPA in 2006. She is currently the annual audit manager specializing in the various employee benefit plans. She enjoys spending time with friends, church family and relatives, traveling, hiking, singing and playing soccer. Randy Eck, CPA Randy@needles-audit.com Randy was hired in December 1996 and has a Masters Degree in Finance. He works with all our large pension fund clients. One of his specialties is the audits of unique investments. He is the lead auditor on two large pension funds that have private placements and limited partnership arrangements. He has attended numerous AICPA Employee Benefit Plan conferences. Randy is married with two children and enjoys travel and the Colorado mountains. Robin Sloan Robin@needles-audit.com Robin joined the firm as a staff auditor in August 2000. As Payroll Audit Manager he oversees the payroll audits from the time they are assigned to their final submission to the client. Robin facilitates this process by communicating with trustees, fund administrators, and fund attorneys on a daily basis. Robin graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Colorado State University with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Psychology. Robin earned an associate’s degree in accounting prior to joining Needles & Associates.
