For over 40 years, we have relied entirely on the generous donations of NPG members and supporters, as well as several foundations, to make our mission possible. For over 40 years, NPG has been on the front lines of this battle – and with the loyal support of members like you , we will continue our mission to educate the American public and policymakers regarding the dangers of U.S. population growth.

NPG is a national non-profit membership organization founded in 1972. Our primary purpose is to educate the American public and elected officials regarding the damaging effects of overpopulation on our nation’s environment, resources, and quality of life. NPG advocates a smaller, truly sustainable United States population accomplished through smaller families and lower, more traditional immigration levels.

Thanks to the generous support of NPG members and various foundations, we are able to provide this annual program to support the education of America’s next generation of leaders. As we continue our mission to inform U.S. citizens and legislators regarding the damaging consequences of population growth, it is vital that we engage our nation’s youngest citizens. It is their future quality of life which is at stake!.

NPG has surveyed scientists for over 40 years to determine an optimum U.S. population size – a level that is within the environment’s carrying capacity and preserves its integrity for future generations.
