Nelson Container Corporation, Incorporated a corrugated box manufacturer in Germantown, WI seeks a Business Development Manager. This self starter holds them self accountable, has a positive disposition and is seen as a resource by others. A professional, they are proactive and comfortable with making decisions. Goals are a way of life for this individual, a means of measuring performance. Willing to trust others, this person is trusted by others; acting with honesty, integrity and respect. This person, who strives to understand the needs and wants of others, will be responsible for; effectively communicating Nelson Container’s value proposition; building relationships with employees, customers and prospects; collaborating to solve problems and find solutions; presenting a professional image; meeting their commitments; using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software; actively participating in meetings, company functions and entertainment opportunities; maintaining a safe driving record; contributing positively to our culture; and closing sales when presented the opportunity. This professional sales person must have; a high school diploma, a valid driver’s license, three years of selling experience, proficiency with Microsoft products and maintain a residence in Eastern Central region of Wisconsin (Lake Winnebago area). It’s preferred that this sales leader; has an undergraduate degree, is committed to continuous learning, has experience in manufacturing, has sold “business to business”, has participated in community service, is mechanically inclined, has good spatial skills, can sketch (with pencil & paper), and leads an active life style. It is desired that this team member; have lean manufacturing experience, corrugated packaging experience, has leadership experience, has sold to senior management.
