The company was founded as Prospects Unlimited by J. Alan Dyer in November of 1985 to provide a local lead source for Columbus small area businesses and sales agents. The company experimented with several types of prospects lists before starting it's new homeowner reports for Franklin County, Ohio in July of 1987.
