As an Internal Medicine Physician, I have been trained to evaluate many health related illnesses and worked in the primary care medical field for 10 years. I worked in Nashville as a traditional Primary Care Physician in an outpatient office-based private practice until transitioning to a hospital based Internal Medicine position performing inpatient care at Williamson Medical Center from 2004-2007. I have also studied a different side of medicine...the natural side. More and more people desire to have a natural based solution for their changing lives. Your physical health can change for any number of reasons at almost any age. At New Life Physicians, we are here to give you a chance to restore your health naturally. Our company originally began in the Autumn of 2005, four years after contracting a viral infection called mononucleosis (mono for short). I was ill for 6 months and often found it difficult to do even the most minimal activity. Normally, infections with mono, forces an individual to be on complete bed rest due to the extreme fatigue and flu-like symptoms. Unfortunately, I had to continue working up to 100 hours per week, and simply never recovered. Even up to four years later, I suffered from severe fatigue, mood swings, irritability, and low libido. It was embarrassing as a physician when I couldn't remember what I was trying to say and felt as if I was showing symptoms of Alzheimer's dementia. This not only took a toll on me, but also on my family. Desperately, I spent 4 years researching my condition through physician visits and other literature. Finally, I was introduced to a group of physicians and pharmacists who were using biologically familiar hormone therapy (previously referred to as bio-identical hormone replacement therapy) to help people just like me get their life back. I studied this field by reading books by Dr. John Lee and others who had pioneered the use of biologically familiar hormone replacement therapy (previously referred to as bio-identical hormone therapy) in the form of creams and gels. In my search to learn how to treat women and men with hormone imbalances; I was introduced to Dr. Gino Tutera, founder of SottoPelle, who had been using hormone pellets under the skin for 15 years. He has trained many physicians to treat hormonally imbalanced women and men with bio-identical estrogen and testosterone pellets. The bio-identical (bio-familiar) pellets are placed painlessly under the skin using a small amount of local anesthesia. The pellets are broken down by enzymes in the blood stream and are released over time to provide the body with optimal levels of hormones.
