Description

New Urban Newsbegan publishing in May of 1996 in response to a growing interest in the planning and development trend called the New Urbanism. Also known as "smart growth" and traditional neighborhood development, the trend focuses on building mixed-use, walkable neighborhoods instead of conventional suburban subdivisions, shopping centers and office parks.
