Our government practice has extensive experience in developing information portals and court/law enforcement technologies. We leveraged our NGSPortal product to to create custom portals for various levels of government, from municipal to county. Our solutions included e-commerce features and advanced interfaces to legacy applications such as court management systems. Finally, our e-government solutions strive to operate under self-funding model where e-commerce revenue is used to sustain the technology infrastructure used to generate it.

We provide access to technical support forums at http://support.ngsltd.com for all of our customers. These forums contain a wealth of information about using our products. Many of our experienced customers contribute answers to some of the questions posted. Also, our technical support staff monitors the posts but responses are posted at our discretion.

We provide a variety of yearly maintenance support plans which can be crafted to fit your specific needs.

Developing advanced information portals is our core business. Our involvement with this technology started in 2001 with a contribution to open source project Apache Jetspeed . Jetspeed project was very influential in defining industry standards for portals and portlets. Some of our ideas made its way into those standards (see JSR-168 ). Our flagship product, NGS*Portal, has evolved from our early efforts to develop information portals. Over the years we enhanced it with business features which were missing in its open source sibling. It is general purpose enough to develop internet and intranet websites for governments and businesses.
