Description

Rachel founded Next Level Communications, Inc., in late 2002. Prior to that, she was senior vice president of public relations for Fyock & Associates, where she oversaw strategic development and execution of all projects performed by Fyock's public relations staff. Barron joined Fyock after serving as director of public relations at Salem Academy and College, where she managed all aspects of the institution's public relations program. Prior to joining Salem, she was a higher education and medical reporter for the Winston-Salem Journal. Barron has served as the program chair of Stratford Rotary and is a board member of Leadership Winston-Salem, Family Services, Inc., and the newly formed Public Assembly Facilities Commission. She has been named one of the Triad's "40 Leaders Under 40" and is the author of three biographies for the young adult market. She holds a B.A. in journalism from the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
