Well-known throughout the region for high quality work, Jurgen Lorenzen is a Master of Photography, a Photographic Craftsman, and is Certified by the Professional Photographers of America. Three times he was named "Photographer of the Year" by the West Virginia Professional Photographers. He has received numerous awards for his work, including the prestigious National Award from the Professional Photographers of America for his contributions to "the advancement of the photography profession." Additional awards are Gallery Awards from the Eastman Kodak Company and Masterpiece Awards from Fuji Photo Film Company. Images created by Jurgen Lorenzen have appeared in books, galleries, periodicals, and proudly, the homes of countless clients.Jurgen Lorenzen has owned and operated Nicholas Photography, Inc., a full-service professional Photography studio, since 1981. During 2004-2005, he served as President of the Board of Directors of the Triangle Photographers Association (PA,WV,OH) and is a Past President of the Professional Photographers of West Virginia.Nicholas Photography is located in Summersville, in south central West Virginia. Services include classic and contemporary portraiture, weddings, commercial imaging, and fine art photography.
