It’s as eternally chic as Coco Chanel’s little black dress. Interestingly, this tiny island (just eight square miles) began as a fishing village, with descendants of Norman and Breton. St. Barth was under Swedish rule for over 100 years, before being ceded to the French in the late 1800s.
