Ninyo & Moore was established in 1986 and, as a company, has provided geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and materials testing and inspection services to clients in the governmental (federal, state, and local) and commercial sectors. Since its inception, the company has continued to grow and now includes more than 400 employees. We have retained highly qualified engineers and geologists, and at the same time, been able to add highly qualified personnel to our firm. This is due to our continued steady growth and our excellent reputation in the industry as an employer.

Ninyo & Moore has extensive experience providing defense and plaintiff expert witness services, including attending mediations and depositions, providing expert witness testimony, providing consultation services, and directing the forensic evaluation which may involve the services previously discussed.

Ninyo & Moore supplies industry leading GIS services and graphical capabilities providing our clients with the necessary technological tools to implement today's geotechnical and environmental challenges.

Hazardous Building Materials generally include asbestos, lead-based paint, and PCB and mercury-containing surface compounds and devices. Ninyo & Moore has performed thousands of asbestos and hazardous building material surveys, monitoring, and abatement management for a variety of clients. We are experienced in working within the framework of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and the U.S. EPA, as well as Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) guidelines.

Ninyo & Moore has the resources to establish an on-site mobile laboratory as may be required by the project specifications and/or in order to reduce sample transportation time. We have utilized our mobile laboratories on many projects to provide our clients with full-service construction materials testing services on site. When requested, our mobile laboratory will be transported to the site and, once established, our laboratory equipment will be re-calibrated and certified by the appropriate agencies before we commence with our laboratory testing.
