Description

We are a small family owned grooming and boarding business located in Central Illinois. We breed a select number of German Shepherd litters yearly. Harley has had a long history training working dogs: from herding and heading dogs, police dogs, Schutzhund dogs, behavioral modification, and family companions. We have first hand experience with Australian Shepherds, Australian Cattle Dogs, Rottweilers, Giant Schnauzers, Black Russian Terriers, German Shepherds and a myriad of other breeds. Our kennel name is in honor of Harley's favorite (and my first) Rottweiler, Fenja vom Dutenhofer See ("Hedda" to her friends). Hedda was a great dog in all respects- she worked like a dream, and had the sweetest, most outgoing and reliable temperament you could ever ask for. Although we are no longer involved in the Rottweiler breed, she has given us the ideal to strive for in the breeding of a great dog.
