North Star Resource Group traces origins back to 1908 when the first office opened in downtown St. Paul, Minnesota. What started small grew into an establishment that provided various financial products; all dedicated to serving its clients. Over time, North Star branched out to further provide service by adding an Insurance Brokerage division in 1986, Long-Term Care division in 1996, Employee Benefits division in 1998, and a Tax Preparation division in 2002*. Today, North Star offices are located in 16 states, with more than 140 full-time advisors and over 160 employees.
