Owners Judy and Bob Carlsen are "Native Yoopers" - natives of Michigan's Upper Peninsula - who live here because they appreciate all that the region has to offer. The ancient histories of the native peoples, the French voyageurs, the traders and trappers, the loggers and miners and all who blazed trails through the wilderness are part of their heritage.
