Safety is NPL’s NUMBER ONE concern. The objectives of NPL’s safety program are to provide a safe and efficient working environment to eliminate personal injury and damage to property and equipment. Every employee, upon hire, is given a Pocket Safety Guide with information pertinent to specific, daily, job-site operations; and instruction on NPL, OSHA safety requirements, and other recognized safety standards. NPL has in place a Safety Award Program, rewarding employees annually for working safely. The program serves to reduce incident rates, increase awareness, and reduce costs. All employees are eligible to receive awards so long as they meet respective requirements for their position. For years, NPL has maintained an Insurance Modifier Rate well below industry average . . . Clear proof that NPL is creating a safer work environment for employees, customers, and the public.
