Ciel Caldwell was named Chief Financial Officer of Northern Power Systems in February 2013. Ms. Caldwell joined Northern Power Systems in February of 2011 as Vice President and Corporate Controller. With over 18 years of experience in finance and accounting, Ms. Caldwell has held senior financial leadership positions at various companies in the high-tech sector including 3Com Corporation, Vistaprint, and Level 3 Communications. At the start of her career Ms. Caldwell worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Ms.

A key element of Northern Power Systems’ innovative direct drive wind turbine design is the power converter used to connect the permanent magnet generator output to the local power system. Northern Power designs and manufactures the power converters for its wind turbines in house, with complete hardware, control design, and software capabilities.
