Mayor Richard Moccia presented the “Read” Poster to Jack Cavanaugh who, in turn, presented an autographed copy of his latest book to the Library. The book, “Tunney – Boxing’s Brainiest Champ and His Upset of the Great Jack Dempsey” has just been published. On the poster, Cavanaugh is quoted as saying: “You can’t become a good writer if you’re not a good reader.” He also credits the Norwalk Public Library with much of the help he received during the extensive research he did on his book.
