Joe Nowiczewski, Sr. Principle Consultant Joe Nowiczewski began his career onshore and offshore construction projects in 1970 with Columbia Gas Development. He moved to Superior Oil in The Woodlands in 1979 where he managed offshore platforms and supervised engineers and support personnel. Mr. Nowiczewski became a Production and Engineering Manager with Mark Producing in 1984. At Mark Producing, he created a new offshore field operations department. Joe opened Nova Consulting Services in Houston , Texas in 1989. As an independent consultant, Mr. Nowiczewski provides project management and construction coordination. Nova Consulting Services has managed construction of over 300 platforms and pipelines. Mr. Nowiczewski holds a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from LeTourneau University and a Master of Science Degree from the University of Tennessee. He is a registered professional engineer in the state of Texas. Richard Phillips, Principle Consultant Richard Phillips , principal consulting engineer, manages platforms, pipelines, and facilities from inception to installation. He began his career with Pennzoil Production Company after graduating with a degree in Petroleum Engineering for Texas A & M University . Mr. Phillips grew into project management after gaining expertise in reservoir engineering and economic evaluations at Superior Oil. In 1982, he took his expertise to Tenneco Oil Company where he regulated reservoir studies and evaluated exploration-drilling prospects. He has coordinated project management with Nova Consulting Services since 1993 and is licensed as a professional engineer in the state of Texas. Matt McDaniel, Principle Consultant Matt McDaniel became a principal consultant with Nova Consulting in 2003. Prior to this, he operated his own consulting business in Houston , Texas . Mr. McDaniel managed construction activities for independent oil & gas companies. His responsibilities include analysis of field development strategies and associated costs, issuance of AFE ’s for company approval, and interfacing with engineering companies and supply vendors for the engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning of oil & gas facilities including platforms, processing equipment and pipelines. Projects varied from single caissons to major oil and gas facilities ranging from $1 million to $20 million. Mr. McDaniel has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University , with a major in Petroleum Engineering.
