Description

Edward Keenan is a principal with Novarica with experience in software design for the financial industry. Prior to joining Novarica, he served as an Executive Director for the Institutional Securities Group Technology division at Morgan Stanley, where he managed development of real-time trading systems for clients and internal users across a variety of asset classes, including Equities, Options, Futures, Currencies, and Fixed Income products. He has broad experience in SDLC practices, with a special focus on user experience.

Rob McIsaac is a principal in the insurance practice at Novarica with expertise in IT leadership and transformation as well as technology and business strategy for life, annuities, wealth management, and banking. He has broad experience in IT strategy and management in the insurance and financial services industries. Prior to joining Novarica, he served in a series of senior technology management positions including leading the Business Transformation Office at Nationwide Insurance and as the CIO for First Citizens Bank, a rapidly growing regional firm based in Raleigh, NC.

Challenge: Our client had experienced a series of unsuccessful implementations which included a high number of production defects among many of the projects in their portfolio. Novarica was asked to provide findings and recommendations for the testing organization based on industry testing best practices and benchmarking from peer companies.
