Nowak & Fraus Engineers (NFE) has been providing quality consulting engineering services to governmental agencies in Southeast Michigan for over 40 years. Our staff has extensive knowledge in all facets of public infrastructure engineering as well as major arterial highway and roadway design. We are committed to providing our public clients with exceptional engineering services in a proficient and timely manner. NFE professionals are skilled in all phases of infrastructure development and rehabilitation from planning and design, through construction.

Condominium projects come in all shapes and sizes ranging from a simple residential duplex to a very complex mixed use 3-dimensional “airspace” condominium. Over the past several years, new concepts and creative ways of sub-dividing real estate have made condominiums a popular choice for development. Our Condominium/Platting Department is dedicated to working with the client and their legal counsel in order to develop a sound strategy for subdividing properties.

Glen joined Nowak & Fraus Engineers (NFE) as a principal in 1998 after a 27 year career at the Oakland County Drain Commissioner’s Office. He began his tenure with Oakland County as a staff civil engineer and was subsequently promoted to project engineer, assistant chief engineer, chief engineer and division manager, before becoming chief deputy drain commissioner in 1994. He has extensive experience in the area of storm drainage, hydraulics, hydrology and water resources, and has authored a number of published technical papers.

Mr. Peterson began his career in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan working for his father’s engineering and surveying company. In the 1980’s Mr. Peterson went to work in the consulting engineering field, working primarily as a municipal engineer. His career has included experience at three consulting firms, with work in both the public and private sectors. Mr.
