Arthur L. Davis Publishing Agency was founded in 1983 in Cedar Falls, Iowa, by Arthur L. Davis. Arthur (known as Art to his friends and family) was a real American success story. After his mother died, his father was not able to take care of 12 children so they were placed into the foster system and lived with different families. Art had a wonderful foster family, but times were tough, so at the age of 15, he rented a room in Indianola, Iowa so that he could attend high school.
