Founded in 1964, O'Hare Spring Company specializes in both large and small volume production of springs, wire forms, stampings and custom assemblies for a wide variety of industrial markets. Our dedication to quality remains as strong today as when we first opened our doors. We received our ISO-9002 registration in March 1997 and we are QS-9000 compliant.

Fortuna Federn specializes in large diameter wire forming and coiling machines. With capability for cold or hot wire, we sell machines that can coil, form, trim, and loop up to 2.5” (63mm) diameter wire. We can produce machines with capacity greater than 2.5” (63mm) if requested. We can customize any machine to meet the exact needs of customers. We can rebuild mechanical machines with new CNC. Formed in 1964 and located a few minutes from Chicago's O'Hare International Airport. O’Hare Spring Company has produced high quality springs, stampings, and wire forms since 1964. Founded by Rudy Schneider, the company has been family owned and operated for four generations. Rudy moved from his family’s farm in Wisconsin to Chicago, Illinois in 1928 and began his family legacy in the spring industry. In 1978 brothers Jim and Bill Schneider took control of the company. In 2007 John Schneider became CEO. The Schneiders have been active with CASMI for generations. Bill was President in 1980, Jim in 1984, and John in 2000. Bill became a CASMI Honorary Member in 2004.
