Description

Because we care about our tenants' safety, no smoking is allowed inside our properties. In addition, no candles and no electric, charcoal or gas grills, as well as no fire pit, or open flames of any kind are allowed anywhere on the premises.

In all our properties, we provide a fire extinguisher for each floor, a smoke/fire alarm in each bedroom in addition to one on every floor landing, a carbon monoxide detector on any floor where there is a bedroom and a fire escape ladder for all 3rd floor bedrooms that do not have access to an existing built-in fire escape or to a 2nd stairwell.

We provide enough working and safe outlets in our properties and as a result no extension cords, which are a serious fire hazard, are needed or allowed anywhere on the premises. Only a cord with a circuit protection strip is allowed. Any cord placed in the strip must go directly to the appliance it serves.

We provide a chain lock on all exterior doors of all our properties for our tenants' improved safety.
