We plan to quickly recover and resume business operations after a significant business disruption and respond by safeguarding our employees and property, making a financial and operational assessment, protecting the firm's books and records, and allowing our customers to transact business. In short, our business continuity plan is designed to permit our firm to resume operations as quickly as possible, given the scope and severity of the significant business disruption.

Oak Ridge Financial announced that Randy L. Hines, CFA joined Thomas P. Niemiec, CFA to form the Emerging Growth Investment Banking Group at Oak Ridge Financial. The Team will focus primarily on raising capital and providing financial advisory services to emerging growth companies in the Upper Midwest. Combined, Tom and Randy have over 50 years of experience in working with emerging technology and manufacturing companies in the region.

Since late 2004 when our investor group purchased Oak Ridge, we have worked hard to create a respected investment firm comprised of experienced professionals that care about their clients, are a pleasure to work with, and have a passion for what they do. As a result, we have experienced exciting growth in both our Private Client and Investment Banking Groups. Our Private Client Services Group has expanded to over 50 investment professionals and continues to grow.

Sue Lang joined Oak Ridge Financial in 2012 as 1st Vice President of Investments in the Private Client Services Group. She began her professional financial career at Morgan Stanley in 2007 after careers in dental hygiene for 20 years and small business owner for 8 years. At Morgan Stanley she partnered with two Financial Advisors who had each been in the financial services industry for over 20 years and continued working with their clients when they retired.

Significant business disruptions can vary in their scope, such as only our firm, a single building housing our firm, the business district where our firm is located, the city where we are located, or the whole region. Within each of these areas, the severity of the disruption can also vary from minimal to severe. In a disruption to only our firm or a building housing our firm, we will transfer our operations to a local site when needed and expect to recover and resume business within 12 hours.
