Founded March 1979, InterMed Associates, Incorporated is an Ohio based corporation dedicated to the practice of Internal Medicine in both hospital and office based settings. Over the years our role in the medical community has evolved however we have always been true to the key elements of our mission: -To be actively involved in medical education. -To be advocates of all patient's rights to equal care. To this end, we currently supply "hospitalist" services at seven of the area hospitals. In our outpatient office we have the ability to perform nuclear cardiac stress testing, 24 hour holtor monitoring, echocardiography, and flexible sigmoidoscopy, among other sophisticated diagnostic procedures. We direct the Osteopathic Internal Medicine residency program at Mercy St. Vincent's Medical Center / Ohio University. Finally we have grown in size and will continue to grow to be able to supply high quality care to all individuals in our community.
