16 Feb 2007 - OI to Develop Oil Spill Rapid Response GIS System for California Dept. of Fish & Game In collaboration with the GIS division of CDFG's Office of Oil Spill Prevention and Response (OSPR), OI will develop new capabilities to allow the rapid transfer of raster and non-raster data between various offices and agencies during oil spill response or similar emergency situations.

12 Nov 2012 - OI Teams with BP to Develop Next Generation Aerial Oil Spill Mapping System Ocean Imaging has teamed up with BP to develop an advanced, yet simple-to-use aerial imaging system specifically configured to provide digital maps of oil spill extents and oil thickness distributions.

Ocean Imaging is a full service remote sensing/GIS company providing aerial and satellite data acquisition, processing and analysis services, GIS data base development and field data sampling. As our name implies, much of our work centers on the ocean environment, wetlands and coastal areas. However, our activities have expanded to include terrestrial regions for agriculture, forestry and land-use applications.
