Description

Position will maintain the day to day operation of production line machinery for plant and will be responsible for providing support to the production supervisor, troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to insure maximum uptime is gained. Candidate will follow all plant safety and general rules, and exhibit a safe and quality work standard. Candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in Plastics manufacturing environment with blow and/or injection mold processing and must have PLC, electrical and mechanical maintenance experience.

A Bright Idea "Lighting the Way to Our Future" The Education Foundation of Oconee County was established through a joint effort of the Oconee County Chamber of Commerce, the public schools, and Athens Academy.The primary goal of the Education Foundation is to develop the greatest resource in Oconee County-its people. The Education Foundation is a team of private and corporate citizens working with professional educators to achieve excellence in education, founded on the premise that a sound education is the key to addressing and solving the problems facing society today and tomorrow.

Availability of reliable power sources is also ensured. Providing electric service directly to Oconee County are two companies: investor-owned Gcorgia Power Company, and member-owned Oglethorpe Corporation which supplies Walton Electric Membership Corporation. Through Georgia's Integrated Transmission System (ITS), a third supplier, the Municipal Electric Authority of Georgia (MEAG), may also enter the picture and compete through bid for a 900kw or higher connected load. Natural gas is provided to much of the county through Georgia Natural Gas Company.

Also available are public health facilities, neighborhood health centers, and private physician groups to provide every medical specialty. Locally, Oconee County residents are served by physicians providing family practice care, general/internal medicine, gynecology, and pediatrics. Other medical services offered include optometry, dental, orthodontia and periodontal. There are several veterinarians located in the county to provide medical care for small and large animals.

The mission of Leadership Oconee XV is to provide future leaders an opportunity to develop individual and group leadership skills, gain greater awareness of issues in Oconee County, and commit to a specific project beneficial to this community.
