Such as: “How to Start a Business”, “How to Grow YOUR Existing Business” with tools such as “How do I get Bonding?” “Do I need a CPA?” Too keeping your current clients with the BEST “Customer Care Trainings”.

We provide outreach to assist qualified businesses to obtain State and Federal HUB Certifications. The GOAL of this Center is to increase the number of HUB certified businesses; enhance the ability for small, minority, women and veteran owned businesses to compete for procurement contracts for all federal agencies; and provide hands-on bilingual technical assistance to support small, minority, women and veteran owned businesses through federal contracts and procurement avenues.
For example, the OHCC was instrumental in working work with Chevron and OC to bring the Texas State College of Waco Oil and Gas curriculum which is now be used by Odessa College. We continue our efforts in working with ECISD Counselors and their Co?Op programs so that this curriculum can be used in the dual credit program. The result of which will provide a program for our local youth who do not want to go on to a four year college program an opportunity to learn about the Oil and Gas industry while serving as vehicle to retain our youth locally and in school.
The OHCC currently has three (3) Clients in the OHCC Incubator leasing office space that is leased from the City of Odessa. We provide assistance with their business development as well their ongoing operations. The demand for the incubator was high enough that attempts to acquire additional incubator space were unsuccessful due to space availability in the building we currently occupy.
