Welcome to Ohio Envelope. It's a pleasure to have this opportunity to show you around our plant. We have invited you on this "tour" of our facilities in order to show you our broad range of product and service capabilities. We hope that you find this excursion enjoyable as well as enlightening.Let's go back to our beginnings for a moment. The genesis of any business requires ingenuity and commitment. Thanks to my grandparents and my parents, Ohio Envelope rests on a firm foundation of both.Ohio Envelope Manufacturing Company was started in 1936 by my grandfather, Robert A. Nelson. At that time, envelope manufacturing was largely a manual operation. He designed and built machinery which helped make that process more efficient. His innovations were so effective that one of his original machines was operating in our plant up until 1996. While we continued to stay on the cutting edge of technology using high speed equipment and modern business methods, the endurance of this original machine symbolizes our continuing dedication to the traditions of ingenuity, quality and service.
