8/6/2007 5:10:21 AM – United Water received official notification from the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to lift the boil water advisory for Bergen and North Hudson county residents. The boil water advisory was issued Saturday due to problems at the Haworth Water Treatment Plant following lightning strikes during Friday night’s storm. Lightning affected power provided by PSE&G as well as the emergency generators at the water plant.
