Description

The mission of Olgoonik Corporation is to engage in profitable business activities that will enable the corporation to provide training and employment opportunities for its shareholders while protecting the land and maintaining Inupiat culture, traditions, and values. In 1973, the Olgoonik Corporation was established by the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act and exists within the North Slope Borough. In 1999, the village corporation of Wainwright formed a new holding company, Olgoonik Development, LLC, and four wholly-owned subsidiaries: Kuk Construction, Olgoonik Logistics, Olgoonik Management Services, and OES. Since that time, three additional subsidiaries have been added: Olgoonik Technical Services and Olgoonik Global Security in 2005 and Olgoonik Specialty Contractors in 2007. Olgoonik Development has overall management responsibility for all of the subsidiaries.
