Our willingness to listen and learn resulted in our entry into designing custom optics, mechanical, and electronic attachments and components. Our XRFwin and TXRDwin software represents the state of the art in analytical, graphical, user interface and instrument control. Today we provide the widest range of products for XRD and XRF instruments, be they stock or custom. Unlike the huge multinational corporations, our products derive their form and function from feedback by you the user.
Omni Instruments began business in 1981 by providing installation services for a line of laboratory automation products manufactured by IBM. Our exposure to the industry and customers led us to realize that there was a better and more affordable way to upgrade XRF and XRD instruments. In less than two years we were designing and producing our own line of controllers and software. Two years later we designed and patented a mechanical interface that allowed a user to upgrade an XRD or XRF instrument without disturbing the alignment.

We provide high voltage cable accessories and instrumentation components of x-ray analysis including x-ray tubes, spectrometer and diffractometer components, automation controllers, and analytical software for a variety x-ray analysis applications. We support and retrofit most models of x-ray diffractometers and spectrometers, as well as provide new components for x-ray analysis. This web site provides information about our products and allows visitors to download demonstration copies of our software for evaluation.
