Dan has over 25 years of health care experience in hospitals, medical groups, and health plans. Within that experience, he has 15 years in valuation and transaction services as well as 18 years in managed care finance and contract development/negotiation. Prior to joining MDS, Dan was a director of health care CFO advisory and transaction services for KPMG LLP. Dan has also held positions as a principal of William M. Mercer, Inc. and as a director of medical economics at CareAmerica Health Plans and Life Insurance Company (now part of Blue Shield of California).
