I am honored to be a part of the Open Pathways team. I have been a licensed body worker for over 20 years, providing therapeutic solutions that focus on functional living. Over time, my practice evolved to include many types of physical and energetic methods and I eventually went on to study how strengthening brain function and increasing brain resilience helps people achieve higher levels of success.

"We started Brain Integration with Nancy after our daughter had spent years picking her eye lashes and had anxiety that was not getting better with alternative medicine. Nancy worked with us in a gentle and caring manner that made our daughter feel she had some control. Nancy worked quietly with our daughter’s brain and energy to heal and encourage a wholeness that her young body so desperately needed. After a sports head injury, Nancy was able to work with her and rework the injury so that she could be successful again. While working with Nancy, we also were able to correct a reading block that our daughter had and she is finally enjoying reading again! Things went so well with her that we have brought our sons to Nancy and, although younger, they both have had behavior and school/reading/math improvements.

Bio-Connection™ treatments are completely non-invasive and tend to be very relaxing. Each session is individualized according to the unique needs and goals of the client, with the treatment time usually scheduled for about an hour. Clients rest comfortably, fully clothed, on a massage table when able. Children who have difficulty being still can receive Bio-Connection™ while engaged in other play activities. Once the specific goal for the session is identified, the practitioner works with the physical and subtle energy systems of the body while holding 19 specific acupressure points. These points connect the energy systems of the body and allow for releasing what has been blocking the energy flow, and receiving what is needed for enhanced function. On your first appointment, there will be an assessment prior to treatment that measures and documents performance for behavioral, academic and physical performance. The assessment results guide the practitioner in establishing the needs and goals of the client and the priorities for each session. The assessment activities are repeated either during or at the end of the treatment.
