When Daniel Neufeld founded Opticolor in 1995, his vision was to provide extremely high quality compounded material that was consistently perfect with every batch, every reorder, regardless of the order quantity. This business model has grown the company into one of the world’s leading producers of colored and tinted material for some of the largest names and brands in the lighting and eyewear industries today. Although OptiColor is a full service color compounder, we specialize in light diffusing PC and acrylic for LED/lighting profile lenses and skylights, as well as optical grade PC for lenses and shields supporting the military and consumer eyewear markets.

As the largest consumer and color compounder of TR90 in North America to support our many eyewear and consumer electronics clients, we have become the unmatched experts at working with this material and creating special additives and effects to make our custom colors stand out from the crowd. We have the creative and technical ability to formulate innovative new materials for our customers to make their brands unique and unlike any other.

Pellets are pre-colored but in concentrated form. We will determine the best let-down ratio to produce the target color if not specified. Our extensive experience in working with injection molders and extruders will help us guide you if pre-Color or concentrate is best for your application.
