OptiMetrics, Inc. was founded in 1979 to provide specialized research and engineering services to government and industry. Our primary focus is applying science and technology to protect and enhance the survival of soldiers on the battlefield.

OptiMetrics has assembled a technical staff with aggregated experience of several hundred years in support of the Chemical, Biological, Radiological, Nuclear and Explosives (CBRNe) Defense community.

OptiMetrics has long experience in the measurement and modeling of signatures and the development of countermeasures (CMs) to minimize vehicle signatures. We have developed models of missile plume signatures: HALT-R (High Altitude Laser Transmission and Radiance) and MPLUME (Missile Plume). We have also developed a signature optimization model that integrates with widely used signature codes: SPIRITS, GTSIG and PRISM. We have created a camouflage pattern design tool, Camo-TK .

Virtually all modern weapons systems rely to some extent on electro-optical technologies. For over 30 years, OptiMetrics has been in the business of evaluation and development of electro-optical technologies for the US military. This expertise includes evaluation of the performance of all types of imaging sensors, from UV to far infrared wavebands. We also perform modeling, simulation and trade studies of various laser systems: LADARs, laser designators, laser countermeasures and laser communication systems.

Our services range from sophisticated system analysis and evaluation to complete product design and development. With our proven modeling and simulation tools, our customers can assess and improve the performance of military systems. Our software products help users predict, prepare for, respond to, and manage critical incidents.
