Description
As we continue to make it a priority to provide an affordable program for working families, we offer a tuition assistance program to families that might not otherwise be able to afford this high quality care and education for their children. We also offer an exceptional summer camp program providing opportunities in exploration through nature studies, the arts and multicultural studies to children ages 2.5 – 14 years. The Orchard School also offers workshops for adults.
To maintain this fine programming and to implement additional programming to meet the changing needs of our rural area such as an after school program for older public school children, we are challenged with a budget increase to meet everyday rising costs. To meet our fiscal needs, The Orchard School raises funds through tuition but still has a 20% gap to fill with your help. A child and family don’t need to have identified special needs to feel lonely, excluded, afraid, unwelcome and at sea in this out of balance society. In addition to the many complexities and stresses of life in this economy, the social expectations are demanding, changing, and the digital world threatens our kids self esteem, humanity and self expression….. So as we continue to embrace the Inclusion of all families and children, we inform our practice to keep current with what that means.
