Oregon Select Wood Floors has over 20 years of combined experience in the refinishing of wood floors. We have a long list of satisfied customers and have most likely done work in your neighborhood. We would be happy to provide you with references. Oregon Select's refinishing process begins with sealing off the work area. We then sand as needed to remove the existing finish and to create a flat surface. At this stage the floor is filled with latex wood filler, and after it dries we progressively sand your floor to a 100-120 grit smoothness, vacuum, and apply either a natural sealer or stain. For stained floors, we apply an additional sealer coat to protect the color. After the sealer is applied, we lightly buff the floor for smoothness and to get the sealer ready for finish. We then apply two coats of Bona® commercial satin floor finish, or the finish that you've specified.
