President and Chief Investment Officer Principal and owner of firm Louis heads the investment policy committee and is directly involved with the management of all institutional accounts at the firm. He has nearly 30 years experience in investment management as well as broad experience in the international business arena. Prior to forming Orleans Capital in 1991, Louis was the senior fixed income manager at a major regional bank and responsible for the development of investment strategy and process. He previously served as Chief Investment Officer for two insurance companies. He began his investment career with Merrill Lynch & Company in New York. Louis has served on the Board of Directors of nine public and private corporations. He has been President and Chief Executive Officer of two publicly held corporations traded on the New York Stock Exchange. He also serves on a special advisory committee for Loyola University School of Business. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Louis attended the University of Houston and received a Master's of Business Administration from Mississippi College. Senior portfolio manager and member of Investment Committee Principal and owner of firm Rod is a senior fixed income portfolio manager with primary responsibility for public and corporate pension funds as well as religious foundations and endowments. Formerly, Rod was an executive vice president of a major regional bank and manager of the Trust and Capital Markets Division. He began his career as a fixed income portfolio manager. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Rod received a Bachelor's degree in Economics from the University of Notre Dame and a Master's of Business Administration from Tulane University. He is a past president of a religious foundation and currently serves on its Board of Directors. Rod has 29 years experience in investment management.
