Description

An experienced, board-certified orthopedic surgeon, James Baker previously practiced in Chalmette, LA (St. Bernard Parish), a suburban area just east of New Orleans. Unfortunately, hurricane Katrina caused severe damage to much of the parish - damage that will literally take years just to clean up. Dr. Baker’s practice, like that of thousands of other physicians in the hardest hit areas east of New Orleans and on the Mississippi gulf coast, was washed away with Katrina. With the gracious help of local physicians, he and his family have begun a new life in the Hill Country.
